The Indian Question.A meeting was held at the collegiate school room on Tuesday evening, for the purpose of concerting measures to ameliorate the condition of the Indian population.
Till we possess the means and power to gather the tribes into reservations, and keep them there, it is not sound policy to dispel the feuds of tribes, who at any moment may overrun our settlements and destroy out lives and property.
